Spinal Alignment:

This is a bodywork technique that gently realigns the spine, relieves stress and reduces muscular pain. The spine is the network that connects the brain to the body. If it is blocked by a tight muscle this communication is compromised causing ‘dis-ease’ so it becomes necessary to detect the blockages along the spine and gently releases the stimulating reflex points to relieve stress and allow normal communication to resume. The treatment connects neurological pathways and restores the body to optimal health and wellness.

Deep Tissue Massage:

Deep tissue is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the strokes are used as classic massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain. Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement. To do this the massage therapist often uses direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles.

Myofascial Release:

Myofascial release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Each myofascial release treatment session is performed directly on skin with very little oil.  This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the facia.

Trigger Point Therapy:

Trigger point therapy is one of the fastest-growing and most effective pain therapies in the world. Medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists are all beginning to use this technique to relieve patients’ formerly undiagnosable muscle and joint pain, both conditions that studies have shown to be the cause of nearly 25 percent of all doctor visits.
